Manoj Fernando is currently the Founder & CEO of Thinktomi - a Silicon Valley School of Innovation. Thinktomi provides dynamic and experiential learning leveraging the latest entrepreneurship methodologies, innovation and digital business transformation programs with knowledge derived from game changing companies.
Thinktomi has a rich network of Silicon Valley thought leaders that provide real-life skills and insights as they happen in the industry. Thinktomi programs are offered both in the US and Global markets. Over the past 5 years Manoj has worked with over 2500(+) students and 1000(+) startups around the world both teaching and mentoring these companies.

Manoj has worked as a senior technology utive for over 27 years in both US and Global markets for both public and private companies. During his career he has held senior utive roles in Operations, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Client Support, Networking and Education. He also has significant international business experience and expertise in the EMEA and Asia Pacific markets.

Over the past 17 years he has been on the founding team of several startups with some exits and has also raised over $25 million in venture capital. Manoj was recently an adjunct professor for the St. Mary’s utive MBA program and he is currently on the corporate faculty at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology – teaching innovation and entrepreneurship. He is also a frequent speaker at startup events and is also a mentor and advisor to various companies across the globe that include US, Korea, Chile, Brazil, Turkey, China, Taiwan.

Andrew Tang is a managing director of DFJ DragonFund.
He has experience in both operation and investment in high-tech companies in a wide variety of sectors, especially in TMT hardware, advanced materials, and clean technology. Before CSFB, Mr. Tang was a senior engineer and marketing manager at Intel Corporation. He was responsible for chip design as well as market enabling for the Pentium and Itanium processors.

Jean Marc Frangos is a Silicon Valley Corporate Innovation thought leader and independent consultant. Jean-Marc is a frequent speaker and moderator at global events held in the US, Europe and Asia, and focuses on Digital Acceleration. He was until last year the Senior VP of External Innovation at BT, responsible for managing the innovation programmes to 'future proof' BT’s portfolio in areas such as TV over IP, Virtual Reality, IoT and Cloud Technologies.

Jean-Marc has transformed BT's innovation function from a $250M corporate venture capital fund originally dedicated to technology scouting, to an open digital transformation engine including an award-winning internal idea management process, BT's corporate incubators, and BT’s Global Open Innovation outposts. He regularly advises corporate innovation teams to help them optimise their own innovation practice.

Since the onset of COVID19, Jean-Marc has focused on exploring and documenting best practice for working in remote environments. He has published a popular article on the famous Innovation Leader site to help guide corporates on their journey towards the new future of work. He is also working on how innovation can continue to thrive in business environments where personal interactions are reduced and ideas need to emerge from remotely operated processes and team.

Cases describing Jean-Marc's global open innovation methodology have been published by London Business School, INSEAD and Harvard Business School and taught in business schools around the world. Jean-Marc has been a guest lecturer on corporate innovation at London Business School, Wharton School, INSEAD, Stanford MediaX, Tsinghua and Keio Universities.

Jean-Marc holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur en Télécommunications from French Grande École Telecom Sud Paris and attended the Advanced Industrial Marketing Strategy course at INSEAD and the Global Business Consortium Programme at London Business School. He served recently on the World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer ion Committee and on the Access to Market Committee of the Scale-up Institute in the UK. He presently serves on the board of the Telecom Council of Silicon Valley, is an utive advisor to Fujitsu Open Innovation Gateway, a distinguished utive fellow for INSEAD Emerging Market Institute.

Preetha is managing director at Pier 70 and is responsible for managing investments, portfolio management and leads the the deal flow process. She led the design of an innovative portfolio company support ecosystem, and is passionate about helping diverse teams succeed.

Dr. Preetha Ram is a successful entrepreneur technologist and educator.She was founder and CEO of OpenStudy, a peer-to-peer online community and platform for mentoring and academic help for high school and college learners. Preetha raised Multimillion-dollar funding from the who’s who of foundations: the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Health, the Georgia Research Alliance, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Hewlett Packard Foundation before receiving an institutional round from Learn Capital. Her company was recognized as one of Fast Company’s Top Ten Innovative Companies in Education, and she was honored at the White House (Sci & Tech Symposium) as one of the Innovators in Post-Secondary Education. As CEO, she scaled the company to over 60 million global learners served, built a profitable Multimillion-dollar business, and led it to a successful exit.

An educational thought leader and innovator, she has held senior leadership positions in academia: Associate Dean at Emory University, utive Dean of Education at Alliant University, and Associate Provost of Internationalization and Chief Academic Expansion Officer at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Recognized for her innovative programs, she is the recipient of several awards: the Andrew Heiskell Award for Study Abroad by the Institute of International Education, Emory University’s Winship Award of Excellence for Teaching, and recently the Innovators Spotlight Award, sponsored by Melinda Gates and the League of Innovation in Community Colleges. She is a gifted speaker and has keynoted at several international conferences, PBS NOVA, and TEDx San Jose. A committed and passionate mentor for entrepreneurs, she is an advisor for many startups including women-led startups Zapptitude and Noora Health, and Edtech startups Emote and Tembo. She volunteers at the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship of Santa Clara University, where she advises startups from all over the world. As a global mentor, she works with Indian startups in UberEXCHANGE and TiE, Korean startups through the Korean Innovation Center, and Chilean startups through Innova 360 and MeetLatam.

Preetha’s education spans two continents, starting from one of the most respected global brands, Indian Institute of Technology, to a PhD in Chemistry from Yale and an MBA from Emory University.
